Aesthetic procedures have evolved dramatically, yet long-term outcomes depend on far more than technical expertise alone. Emerging evidence shows that nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connection, and avoidance of harmful substances all influence the biological processes underlying skin aging, tissue repair, and response to treatment. This session will explore how the six pillars of lifestyle medicine can be integrated into everyday aesthetic practice to optimize procedural outcomes, enhance patient satisfaction, and promote healthier aging.
This lecture presents a novel, multimodal strategy for melasma that goes beyond pigment reduction to address inflammation, vascular factors, and skin homeostasis. Combining intradermal botulinum toxin A, tranexamic acid, and advanced QS Nd:YAG/erbium combination of laser protocols and drug delivery, this approach offers improved outcomes for resistant cases while minimizing recurrence through regenerative and physiology-driven care.
This session reviews the use of neuromodulators across the upper face, lower face, and neck, alongside filler selection based on rheology and treatment goals. Attendees will learn how to differentiate between available products and apply a tailored approach to achieve safe, natural-looking results.
