Julie Bass Kaplan is a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS), and facial anatomist who began her medical aesthetics career in 1999.

She focuses on teaching safe injection techniques. She serves as faculty for Palette Resources, Allergan, and Galderma. Julie is a published author in several medical journals and speaks internationally. She also runs a private Patreon community, Jubilant Julie, where she mentors injectors at all levels.

Julie founded Disappearing Act Aesthetic Medicine with locations in Redding, California and Ashland, Oregon. She hosts monthly facial anatomy and ultrasound workshops that emphasize “Inject, Dissect, Connect.”

Her Jubilant Head & Breakfast Anatomy Workshops are intensive programs that offer 20 hours of CME for a small group of 12 providers. These are held at her training center in Ashland, Oregon.
