Dermatologist and cutaneous surgeon. Dr. Viera’s journey in medicine started at a very young age. Being the daughter of a doctor, she started developing her passion by just watching how her father helped his patients, which instilled in her values and desires about becoming part of a profession of service and help. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, she finished medical school in 2001 at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Following medical school, she finished one year of General Surgery and 4 years of Dermatology residency at University of Miami Miller Medical School. She has more than 20 years experience in the field of medicine. With more than 40 publications in prestigious national and international journals, many book chapters in Dermatology and cutaneous surgery, Dr. Viera certainly has shaped her expertise. Since the beginning of her career, she has been invited as a speaker at more than 30 conferences across the globe, placing her in the forefront of her specialty. She has been part of several renowned health centers inside and outside the US such as the Hospital of the Central University of Venezuela and the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. She is a volunteer faculty member at the Department of Dermatology at University of Miami as well, where she devoted her time to teach the residents in training. Moreover, Dr. Viera is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Woman’s Dermatologic Society, Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Venezuelan Society of Dermatology, and the International Society of Dermatology. Ost recently Dr Viera has been certified in Integrative Dermatology in 2022 at Learn Skin, have completed a Diplomate in Argentina of Longevity 2024, and currently is doing a fellowship in Longevity at The A4M and functional dermatology with Root Cause Dermatology.

In addition to practicing as a dermatologist, Dr. Viera loves philanthropy and Is the director and coordinator of a non-profit organization for impoverished children in Venezuela, which feeds

more than 9,000 children a year. She is also a photographer “documentary photography” andhas exhibit her work at art galleries. She resides in Coral Gables, FL and is a dermatologist in a private practice working with patients. She is a volunteer faculty at University of Miami School of Medicine Department of Dermatology. In her personal life, Dr. Viera is a mother of two boys who likes to enjoy a healthy, active and

balanced lifestyle. She loves to share her passions with her husband, family and friends. When not practicing medicine, she is also a talented documentary photographer and has presentez her work at art exhibits in Miami. She lives by the motto of “practice what you preach” and emphasizes herself care inside and out: in anti-aging treatments such as specific sun protective and anti-aging diet, practicing meditation mindfulness, yoga and personalized weight training for overall optimal health.
