Dr. Adriana R. Cruz is a board-certified dermatologist who earned her medical degree and completed her dermatology training at Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia. She completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Connecticut and dedicated more than 12 years to clinical and translational research on syphilis and tropical dermatologic diseases. Throughout her career, she has served as an advisor to the Colombian Ministry of Health, faculty member at CIDEIM, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Colombian Dermatology Society (AsoColDerma). She has a longstanding passion for academic leadership, medical education, and social responsibility, and enjoys organizing educational initiatives that advance dermatologic care.

Beyond clinical dermatology, Dr. Cruz is passionate about integrative dermatology and lifestyle medicine. As a certified Lifestyle & Wellness Coach, she helps individuals build sustainable habits that support healthier skin, overall well-being, and lasting behavior change. Outside of medicine, Dr. Cruz enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, exploring nature, and staying connected to her Colombian roots.
