Lilly-Rose Paraskevas, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist, educator, and practice owner of Rose Dermatology in New York City. She earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Hunter College and her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College before completing her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Paraskevas serves as an Attending Physician at Metropolitan Hospital, where she leads the Cosmetic Dermatology Lecture Series and trains dermatology residents in aesthetic procedures. She previously served as Associate Director of Cosmetic Dermatology at SUNY Downstate, where she was responsible for the didactic and hands-on training of senior dermatology residents in injectable cosmetic procedures.
A former professional ballerina trained in New York City, Dr. Paraskevas brings a unique understanding of the physical and aesthetic demands faced by performers. She has the privilege of practicing in the same community in which she grew up—a neighborhood rich in dancers, actors, musicians, and artists—and has developed a special interest in caring for performers and helping them optimize both appearance and function. Her work focuses on innovative and evidence-based applications of cosmetic dermatology, including the expanding role of neuromodulators beyond traditional cosmetic indications.
Dr. Paraskevas has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications and has been an invited lecturer on cosmetic dermatology and injectable treatments. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and maintains active hospital affiliations throughout New York City.
